Sportline® is a thirst quencher with a fresh, fruity flavour and it quickly restores the fluid balance thanks to its unique and balanced composition.
The real, pure juice gives Sportline® its fresh and natural flavour and thanks to the additional mineral salts Sportline® quickly supplements the body fluids, both during and after exercise. Sportline® is composed of fruit juice, natural ingredients and carbohydrates, and it doesn't contain any colouring agents and preservatives.
Sportline® is available in three varieties:
Sportline® Citrus can and
doypack
Sportline® Orange can
Why Sportline® in a can?:
Sportline® is packed in a handy aluminium can of 250 ml. An important advantage of this is that no preservatives and colouring agents have been added to the product. Through a process of pasteurisation the product will have an extended expiration date, which means that no preservatives need to be added to the product. This is not possible with PET bottles, as these cannot be heated.
What is isotoon?:Sportline® is an isotonic sports drink; this means that the concentration of minerals and carbohydrates is in balance with the substances in the blood. Because of this, the blood can absorb fluids and energy optimally. This means that the blood absorbs an isotonic sports drink quickly, and thanks to its thirst quenching effect it is very good to have one during or after physical exercise. An isotonic sports drink provides about 6 to 7 grams of carbohydrates in every 100 ml..

Carbohydrates: Carbohydrates (starch and sugars) are especially important as a source of energy. They provide the energy that is needed for all body systems and they provide fuel for the brains. One gram of carbohydrates gives 4 kCal (17 kj). In a balanced diet, carbohydrates provide at least 40% of the energy the human body needs on a daily basis.
Natural mineral water: Water doesn't provide energy but is is important in the transport of nutrients through the body and in the excretion of waste materials. It also plays a part in regulating the body temperature. Without water life is impossible.

Minerals: Just like vitamins, most of the minerals belong to the so-called essential nutrients, which means that they are vital for the body. They are for example important as nutrients or as part of metabolic reactions. They are also important for the growth and development of the human body. The body itself can't produce them. This means that our food has to provide them. Most minerals are only provided through our food in limited quantities. How much each person requires varies from hundreds of milligrams to a few grams a day. This applies to calcium, chlorine, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and sodium.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid): Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is by far the most well-known vitamin. This vitamin is soluble in water and plays a role in a large number of processes in the body. Among other things, vitamin C is required to produce connective tissue and this guarantees wounds will heal in a proper way. Vitamin C also makes sure that the body absorbs the iron in nutrients and it also plays an important role in maintaining the body's resistance. |
